Article1    為促進本校及中台灣地區大專校院有關歐洲聯盟合作與交流,並配合本校參加「臺灣歐洲聯盟中心」(European Union Centre in Taiwan),特設置「歐洲聯盟中心」(以下簡稱本中心)。
To promote cooperation and exchange between the University and other colleges and universities in central Taiwan with respect to the European Union, and to support the University’s participation in the European Union Centre in Taiwan, the European Union Center (hereinafter referred to as “the Center”) has been established.


Article2    本中心以任務編組組成,隸屬國際事務處,所需經費由國際事務處配合「臺灣歐洲聯盟中心」總部年度活動預算,依活動需求與經費分攤比例原則由國際事務處年度經費或頂尖計畫支應。各項經費收支依本校校務基金相關規定辦理。申請計畫應遵循行政程序經學校同意後辦理。
The Center is organized as a task-force-based unit under the Office of International Affairs. The required funding is provided by the Office of International Affairs in coordination with the annual activity budget of the headquarters of the European Union Centre in Taiwan, and is covered by the Office of International Affairs’ annual budget or the Top University Project, in accordance with activity needs and the principles of cost sharing. Funds and expenditures shall be handled in accordance with the relevant regulations governing the University Endowment Fund. Proposal applications shall be handled in accordance with administrative procedures and upon approval by the University.


Article 3    本中心之職掌如下:
The responsibilities of the Center are as follows:
1.推動本校與歐洲聯盟會員國學術、文化合作交流與公民社會往來。
To facilitate academic and cultural cooperation, exchange, and civil society interaction between the University and European Union member states.
2.增進本校師生對歐洲聯盟之認識,配合「臺灣歐洲聯盟中心」之活動。
To enhance the understanding of the European Union among faculty and students of the University and to support the activities of the European Union Centre in Taiwan.
3.結合中台灣地區大專校院與其他產、官、學、及民間團體推動歐洲聯盟學術、文化合作交流。
To promote European Union academic and cultural cooperation and exchange by integrating colleges and universities, industry, government, academia, and civil organizations in central Taiwan.


Article4    本中心置中心主任與執行長各一人,由校長聘請本校專任教師兼任之,綜理、執行本中心業務,亦置校聘行政人員一名,協助處理相關工作。
One Chief Director and one Chief Operating Officer shall be appointed for the Center by the President from among the University’s full-time faculty members to oversee and execute the Center’s affairs. In addition, one University-appointed administrative staff member shall be assigned to assist with handling related work.


Article5    本辦法經行政會議通過後,自公布日實施;修正時亦同。
These Regulations and any amendments made hereto shall be implemented from the date of promulgation upon passage by the Administrative Meeting.
