Current Students - Course Selection Guide
(1) Log in NCHU Single Sign-On System
User ID: your student ID number
Password: 999999mmdd (mmdd is your birthday)
ARC holder: The capital and lowercase of the first letter & the last 4 digits of your ID & the last four number of your birthday.
(e.g. if your ARC number is B912345678 and your birthday is January 1st: Bb56780101)

(3) Regulations
1. All courses selecting or drop-off procedures are working ONLINE in the Single Sign-On System. Online Course Selection System works at 10 am sharp, and 8 am – 10 am will be the maintenance time.
2. Please follow the schedule for course selection and double-check the chosen courses before the deadlines.
3. The final list of course selections is based on the record of the online system.
4. Please update the e-mail in the system for course selection to make sure important information is received.
5. Due to ANY reason, you didn’t choose the course you want to study online, then you can try to request for “Special Case Request” to ask for permission to study the desired course, please follow the instructions below.
6. Only one Physical Education (PE) course per semester can be chosen for the freshman and sophomore years, and one service-learning course per semester can be chosen for the freshman year only.
7. Undergraduate students in the freshman, sophomore, and junior years need to take at least 16 credits per semester to be a full-time registered student.
8. PAX students have to choose at least 2 courses, one course should be selected from the exchanged program, department, or college. This rule does not apply to Lab exchange students, there is no course requirement for the Lab exchange students.
9. According to Article 35 The NCHU Student Study Regulation, students should complete the course selections in the request period. Students who fail to do so will be suspended from school for the current semester.
(4) Schedule for Master & Ph. D. Students

3. Masters and doctors can choose undergraduate courses during the stage of Course Add-in & Drop Online.
4. According to Article 21 of The NCHU Student Study Regulation, graduate students should choose at least one course (including
Dissertation) in every semester to be a registered student.
5. According to Article 35 The NCHU Student Study Regulation, students should complete the course selections in the request period. Students who fail to do so will be suspended from school for the current semester.

Taiwan Comprehensive University System’s inter-collegiate course enrollment
Taiwan Comprehensive University System(TCUS) consists of National Chung Hsing University(NCHU), National Chung Cheng University(CCU), National Cheng Kung University(NCKU), and National Sun Yat-sen University(NSYSU).
Enrolled degree students listed in the system can enroll in courses from other schools.
Bachelor-degree students: waived for the tuition fee for selected school (not including teacher education program, summer classes, course retakes, training credits)
Postgraduate students: tuition is set according to each school’s tuition standards.

2-1. Ask the instructor if they accept students from other universities to enroll in their course.
2-2. Ask your faculty to see if the faculty recognizes the credit.
3. Go to NCHU curriculum section website to download F3-01 Inter-collegiate Course Enrollment Form (doc file | odt file).
4. Bring the inter-collegiate course enrollment form to the course-offering unit for approval.
5. Bring the inter-collegiate course enrollment form to your faculty for credit recognition.
6. Enroll in courses according to the affiliate university’s time and process.

7. Send the inter-collegiate course enrollment form to the National Chung Hsing University curriculum section and a copy of the above form to the affiliate university’s organizing unit.
