National University System of Taiwan
In order to build a collaboration platform for communication and exchanges between universities and colleges in Central Taiwan and seek connections in various areas such as teaching, research, internationalization, and talent cultivation, ten universities in Central Taiwan have jointly established the National University System of Taiwan (NUST).
Its members include National Chung Hsing University, National United University, National Taichung University of Education, National Taiwan University of Sport, National Chin-Yi University of Technology, National Changhua University of Education, National Yunlin University of Science and Technology, National Formosa University, National Chi Nan University, National Chiayi University, and National University of Kaohsiung where eight of them are general universities and three of them are technical colleges.
Each of them continues to develop its characteristics and professional areas based on its existing foundation, while creating synergy and realizing a model of resource sharing, value co-creation, cooperation, and co-prosperity through integration under NUST, thereby building the development blueprint for an intelligent Central Taiwan.
