2020.4.16 Ethiopian Ph.D Student's Letter To NCHU

I feel very sorry since some days ago due to the wrong claims made by the Ethiopian man, Dr. Tedros who is DG of WHO on the beloved people of Taiwan. He did it blindly without knowing absolute facts how lovely the Taiwanese people are.

2020.3.25 Donation Ceremony to Intl. Student

An exchange student enrolled at NCHU took an emergent surgery in March and is recovered now. The huge expense of the medical cost was sponsored by many charity groups in Taiwan.(link)

2020.8.28 NUST Hosts Symposium to Strengthen Cooperation with ASEAN and South-Asian Countries

In response to the New Southbound Policy of the Ministry of Education, National University System of Taiwan (NUST) held a symposium, Strengthening Cooperation, Exchanges and Sharing with ASEAN and South-Asian Countries, at National Chung Hsing University, on August 28, 2020.(link)

2020.9.4 Members of the visiting Czech delegation met with representatives of NCHU

President Fuh-Sheng Shieu and Vice-President for International Affairs Chia-Lin Chang led teachers of NCHU to meet with the University of Chemistry and Technology, Prague, Professor Pavel Matějka, and the Director of Science and Technology Division, Czech Economic and Cultural Office, Professor Marie Leflerova, on September 4, 2020.(link)

NCHU Happy Birthday!

Happy birthday to NCHU🎉🎉 The international students celebrated NCHU's anniversary by dressing their traditional customs and introducing their culture on October 24th, 2020.(link)

2020 European Film Festival @ NCHU Opening Ceremony

The Opening ceremony will be held at Library's Lobby. We will set up a theatre zone, which students could watch movie by sitting on the ground. The opening movie we selected is "The Stolen Caravaggio".

2020 European Film Festival @ NCHU After-Screening Discussion

The managing partner of INFINITY Attorneys-at-law, Chen Meng Hsiu, lead the discussion. The  movie we discussed  is  "The Collini Case."

Cooperation with Partner Universities in India

In order to promote further academic exchanges and strengthen the cooperation between NCHU and tertiary academic institutions in India, Mr. Bijoy Das, the Deputy Director General of the India-Taipei Association, paid a visit to NCHU on 25 September 2020.(link)

Diwali at NCHU

Diwali is the festival of lights, one of the most popular festivals in India; it symbolizes ‘victory of light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance.(link)

Technische Universität Darmstadt

OIA office arranged the TU Darmstadt Exchange Student Program Workshop on 13th November. We invited Mrs. Claudia Finner (Director, TU Darmstadt Asia office) to introduce TU Darmstadt and discuss with our students.(link)

Trip in Houli

On November 14th, NCHUOIA hosted an extracurricular activity in Houli. We was riding bike and had a lot fun in the beautiful place.(link)

English kitchen-Haiti

This activity we invited Haitian students introduced their country/cuisine origin/typical dishes to all the participants in the activity, including Haitian Accra and Fritay. Hope everyone had a good time~(link)

English kitchen-Thailand

Second day of English kitchen we introduced Thai's delicious cuisine which we made them by our own hands. Besides the exotic food, we also learned Thai's culture. How wonderful!(link)

English kitchen-Sri Lanka

The third day of English kitchen we introduced Sri Lanka to you. By making the traditional food of Sri Lanka via our hands, we had learned the Sri Lanka culture and the way to make exotic food.(link)
