《NUST × NCNU》2026 International Student Outdoor Recreation and Exploration Activities
Explore nature and make new friends! Enjoy kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) at Sun Moon Lake, or challenge yourself on the outdoor ropes course at National Chi Nan University. Discover Taiwan’s natural beauty while connecting with students from other universities.
Eligibility: International and overseas students enrolled at member institutions of the National University System of Taiwan (NUST)

Included: Round-trip transportation between Taichung HSR Station and the activity venue, plus travel accident insurance

Number of Participants : Kayaking and SUP are each limited to 40 participants, and outdoor exploration is limited to 20 participants. Places will be allocated in the order registrations are received. Acceptance notifications will be sent by email on November 3, 2026. Registration will close early once all places are filled.
1. Kayaking Experience
Date: Saturday, November 7, 2026
Venue: Sun Moon Lake
Capacity: 40 participants
12:00: Meet at Taichung HSR Station
12:00–13:30: Travel to Sun Moon Lake
13:30–14:00: Warm-up, safety briefing, kayaking equipment instructions, and route introduction
14:00–16:00: Kayaking instruction and hands-on experience
16:00–16:30: Experience sharing and reflection
16:30–18:00: Return to Taichung HSR Station
2. Outdoor Exploration — Ropes Course
Date: Saturday, November 7, 2026
Venue: National Chi Nan University
Capacity: 20 participants
12:00: Meet at Taichung HSR Station
12:00–13:00: Travel to National Chi Nan University
13:00–13:30: Warm-up, introduction to outdoor exploration, ropes equipment instructions, and challenge route overview
13:30–16:30: Low- and medium-height ropes course instruction and group activities
16:30–17:00: Experience sharing and reflection
17:00–18:00: Return to Taichung HSR Station
3. Stand-Up Paddleboarding (SUP) Experience
Date: Sunday, November 8, 2026
Venue: Sun Moon Lake
Capacity: 40 participants
12:00: Meet at Taichung HSR Station
12:00–13:30: Travel to Sun Moon Lake
13:30–14:00: Warm-up, safety briefing, SUP equipment instructions, and route introduction
14:00–16:00: SUP instruction and hands-on experience
16:00–16:30: Experience sharing and reflection
16:30–18:00: Return to Taichung HSR Station
