🧑‍🏫Course Objectives

This course combines theory and hands-on practice to guide students into the world of tea, experiencing the way of tea tasting from the heart. Through exploring roles such as tea masters and tea culture promoters, students will be encouraged to reflect on "how to transform passion into profession" and explore diverse career possibilities in the field.
 

Course Content

Unit 1: Entering the World of Tea – Tea Culture and Diverse Professions
- Origins and development of tea
- The role and work characteristics of tea masters
- Transformation and application of tea culture in modern life

Unit 2: Tea Art Craftsmanship – From Selecting Tea to Preparing Utensils
- Introduction to common tea types (green tea, oolong tea, black tea, etc.)
- Identifying tea leaf appearance, aroma, and flavor
- Basic knowledge of tea utensils and etiquette of use

Unit 3: The Way of Tea Tasting – Practicing the Five Senses
- Demonstration and hands-on practice of the tea brewing process
- Observing tea liquor color, smelling tea aroma, and tasting tea essence
- Cultivating focus and inner tranquility through tea tasting

Unit 4: Beginning from the Heart – Tea and Aesthetics of Life
- Tea ceremony aesthetics and spatial atmosphere
- The relationship between tea, emotional regulation, and life rhythm
- How tea art becomes part of daily life

🧑‍🏫Course Objectives

1. Understand the work content, industry landscape, and career development of handmade soap craftspeople
2. Learn about the application of plant-based ingredients in cleaning and skincare products
3. Master the production process for handmade soap and basic moisturizing lotion
4. Develop understanding and appreciation for natural living, aesthetic design, and sustainable concepts

Course Content
1. Theoretical Foundation – Introduction to Skin-Friendly Science
- (1) Understanding ingredients: What is MP soap base
- (2) Understanding plant oils (oil phase) and essential oils
- (3) Understanding hydrosols (water phase)
 
2. Emulsification Principles: Simple explanation of how oil and water combine through emulsifiers to form lotion.

3. Fragrance Layers: Understanding the distinction between essential oils and fragrance oils; recommendations for pairing top, middle, and base notes.

4. Practical Exercise 1: Sea Aster Soap
- (1) Hot melt technique: Temperature control after heating the soap base
- (2) Functional additives: Adding herbal juices, powders, and other ingredients
- (3) Fragrance and molding: Adding antibacterial essential oils and techniques for eliminating surface bubbles

5. Practical Exercise 2: Moisturizing Lotion
- (1) Using the "cold process emulsification method" – no heating required, safe and efficient
- (2) Golden ratio: Proportions of oil to water to emulsifier
- (3) Physical emulsification: Observing the transformation from liquid to creamy consistency through stirring
