New regulation of work permit application!!!

According to the Ministry of Labor "Regulations on the Permission and Administration of the Employment of Foreign Workers": The maximum approved period for work permit application of foreign students is one year. The longest hours per week are 20 hours except for winter and summer vacation.

★Other Application Details:
For those applying for work permits from October 1 to next year September 30, the permit period cannot exceed next year September 30.

Example 1: If you apply for a work permit from October 1, 2024, with a proof of enrollment for the first semester of 2024, you can apply for a permit valid until September 30, 2025.
Example 2: If you apply for a work permit from September 20, 2024, with a proof of enrollment for the first semester of 2024, the maximum validity is until September 19, 2025. If you need a permit beyond September 19, 2025, you will need a proof of enrollment for the second semester of 2024, but the permit will only be valid until September 30, 2025. To apply for a work permit that extends beyond September 30, 2025, you will need proof of enrollment for the first semester of 2025.
