【Notice No.49】Due to recent confirmed case, students and staffs should  practice self-health monitoring.

NCHU received a notification that one student has been infected with COVID-19 on April 14th 2022, who didn’t enter the campus three days before being confirmed, yet attended a meeting on campus (April 11th).  NCHU had disinfected possible contaminated areas and all of  the attendees of the meeting have been tested by quick screening kit for COVID-19. So far, the individuals being tested are all negative, which means no further disease spreading on the campus.

Please be reminded that you can protect yourself from being infected by having a complete vaccination and booster, staying at home if unwell, wearing a mask and cleaning your hands regularly.

If any of the suspected symptoms appear (e.g., fever, sore throat, respiratory complications, loss of smell or taste, or diarrhea), please wear a medical mask and seek  a medical attention immediately at a nearby hospital for COVID-19 testing and refrain from using any public transportation. When in the hospital for treatment, please inform the physician regarding your contact and travel history, potential occupational exposure to the virus, as well as anyone around you with similar symptoms. When returning  home, please continue to wear a medical mask and avoid making any unnecessary trips.

Sincerely,
NCHU Epidemic Prevention Team
