National Chung Hsing University Pilot Program for Project-based Partner University Scholarship

一、 目的：為深化與姊妹校之合作關係，鼓勵姊妹校優秀外國學生來臺攻讀學位，特設立本獎學金。
I. Purpose: This scholarship is established to deepen cooperation with National Chung Hsing University’s partner universities and to encourage outstanding international students from partner universities to pursue a degree in Taiwan.
二、 經費來源：本校學生公費及獎助學金、教育部高等教育深耕計畫補助經費及其他外部補助款；或由本校校務基金自籌款項之捐贈收入支應。
II. Source of funds: The funding of the scholarship shall be financed by public funds, grants, subsidies from the Ministry of Education’s Higher Education SPROUT Project, other subsidies, or donations received through the University Endowment Fund.
三、 受獎對象：姊妹校學生來臺攻讀碩士學位者。
III. Award targets: Students from partner universities who come to Taiwan to pursue master's degrees.
四、 受獎期間：註冊後兩年內為限。
IV. Award period: Two years from the date of registration.
五、 受獎獎項：
V. Benefits of award:
1. 學雜費減免（包括學分費及學雜費基數），但不含保險、住宿及電腦使用等相關費用。
Tuition waiver (including basic credit fees and tuition and miscellaneous fees), but not including insurance, accommodation and computer usage fees.
2. 生活費補助：每月新臺幣六千元。
Monthly stipend: NT$6,000 per month.
六、 申請流程：
VI. Application procedure:
1. 本校學院：於每年二月底前，遴選學生並將受推薦學生名冊(註明推薦排序)及指導教授名單彙整後送至國際事務處。
Colleges of National Chung Hsing University: Before the end of February each year, students are selected, and the list of shortlisted students (indicating the ranking order of recommendation) and the names of advisors are compiled and sent to the Office of International Affairs.
2. 受推薦學生：於規定期限內完成本校「新生申請系統」申請程序，逾期者視同放棄資格。
Students nominated must complete the application process on the University’s International Students Online Application System of Admission within the specified period. Failure to do so shall be deemed as forfeiture.
3. 受推薦學生將依本校簡章規定進行資格審查，最終錄取名單由本校獎學金委員會審查後公布。
The shortlisted students shall be subjected to eligibility review pursuant to regulations of the University. The final shortlisted students shall be subjected to the review of the scholarship committee before the awardees are announced.
七、 獎學金受獎規定：
VII. Terms of scholarships:
1. 生活費補助核發期限，自受獎者實際註冊就學當月起，至受獎期限屆滿、畢業、休學、退學或獎學金受廢止月止。
The disbursement of stipend begins from the month the awardees make registration and ends in the month the scholarship period expires, or the awardees graduate, suspend their studies, withdraw from the University, or the scholarship is revoked.
2. 受獎者除寒暑假及碩士論文撰寫期間外，若有未到校上課或未經學校許可離境者，則停發不在學月份之生活費補助；若有不在學期間超過二個月者，得註銷受獎資格，並於次月起停發生活費補助。
Except for summer and winter breaks, and the thesis-writing period, the stipend shall be suspended for the months when the awardee is not attending classes or has left Taiwan without prior approval. If such leave exceeds two consecutive months, the scholarship may be terminated and the disbursement of stipend shall be canceled in the following month.
八、 受獎期限內獎學金續領審核作業如下：
VIII. The scholarship renewal review process within the award period is as follows:
1. 受獎生之學期學業平均成績需達八十分(含以上)，於下一學期註冊後始得續領獎學金。
To be eligible to continue receiving the scholarship, students must obtain an average grade of 80 or above in the current semester and register for the next semester.
2. 該學期學業平均成績未達八十分者，停發一個月之生活費補助；連續二學期學業平均成績均未達八十分者，停發自下一學期起之獎學金。
Awardees whose average academic performance in the semester is below 80 will have their stipend suspended for one month. Awardees whose average academic performance is below 80 for two consecutive semesters shall have their stipend suspended starting the following semester.
九、 本獎學金預計試行三年(含執行四年)，每年以獎助三十名學生為原則。相關規範未盡事宜，悉依教育部與本校相關規定辦理。
IX. This scholarship is expected to be implemented on a trial basis for 3 years (including 4 years of implementation), awarding scholarships, in principle, to 30 students each year. Matters not addressed herein shall be handled in accordance with the applicable rules and regulations of the Ministry of Education (MOE) and the University.
十、 本獎學金經簽准後，陳請校長同意後實施，修正時亦同。
X. The scholarship pilot program has been implemented with the approval of the President. The same applies to all subsequent amendments.
