【OIA】NCHU Alumni Donate NT$100,000 to Help Eswatini Student Return Home for Medical Treatment

A student from Eswatini at National Chung Hsing University (NCHU) recently required urgent medical attention back in his home country due to a sudden illness. However, financial difficulties prevented him from affording the airfare needed to return home for treatment. At this critical moment, two NCHU alumni, Zhuang Jiayu and Lu Huijun, generously donated NT$100,000 to assist the student in returning home for medical care.
Facing an unexpected health issue, the student had to temporarily suspend his studies and return home for professional medical attention. Yet, the high cost of airfare left him in a predicament, unable to return home promptly. Upon learning of this situation, alumni Mr. Zhuang Jiayu and Ms. Lu Huijun acted swiftly, donating NT$100,000 to help the student overcome this challenge.
This support highlights the strong cohesion and philanthropic spirit of NCHU alumni. The NCHU Alumni Association has always been committed to promoting connections and mutual assistance among alumni, as well as actively participating in various charitable activities. This donation is not only a timely assistance to a student in need but also a concrete embodiment of the spirit of benevolence.
NCHU expresses its sincere gratitude to the two alumni for their generous acts. Their selfless contribution has not only helped the student through a difficult time but also demonstrated the deep camaraderie among NCHU alumni.
