一、目的 | Purpose
為鼓勵曾在本校華語中心進修之外語申請就讀本校學位，特設立此項獎學金。
To encourage international students at NCHU Chinese Language Center to pursue degree programs after completing Chinese courses.
二、經費來源 | Source of Funding
經費來源為教育部高等教育深耕計畫-國際化專章經費。
The funding comes from the Ministry of Education's Higher Education Sprout Project – Internationalization section.
三、申請資格 | Qualifications
Applicants must meet all of the following requirements:
1. 本校一年級外籍新生。First-year international degree student who are currently enrolled in NCHU.
2. 曾在本校華語中心修習華語課程並取得華語課(Level 4 以上)結業證書或華語文能力證明 (A2 以上)者。Have previously studied Chinese language courses at NCHU Chinese Language Center, and provide one of the following documents: (1) A certificate of completion for Level 4 or above in the Chinese language courses. (2) A Chinese language proficiency certificate at level A2 or higher.
四、申請時間及方式 | Application Time and Procedure
1. 每年 9 月 1 日至 10 月 15 日。Application time: September 1st to October 15th each year.
2. 申請人填妥申請表，檢附以下資料，於申請期限內繳交至國際化行政支持辦公室(OIAS)：Application Procedures: Applicants must submit the following documents to the Office of International Administrative Support (OIAS) within the application period:
(1) 申請表。 A completed application form(to be completed online).
(2) 2年內本校華語中心結業證書或華語文能力測驗證明。 A certificate of completion issued within the past two years by the NCHU Chinese Language Center, or a valid Chinese language proficiency test certificate.
(3) 華語中心教師推薦信。 A recommendation letter from a teacher of the NCHU Chinese Language Center.
五、獎助方式及名額 | Amount and Quota of Scholarship
- 獎學金金額：新台幣 2 萬元。Scholarship amount: NTD 20,000
- 每年以獎助 10 名學生為原則。In principle, up to 10 students are awarded each year.
- 春季班入學新生併入下一學年之申請及審查。For new students enrolling in the spring term, their applications will be included in the scholarship application and review process for the following academic year.
六、審查標準及程序 | Review Standards and Procedures
依據申請者提供之資料（如華語課程結業證書、華語文能力測驗證明）進行評選，提出受獎名單後，由國際事務處召開會議審查。審查紀錄經校長核定後，造冊撥發獎學金。
The evaluation is based on supporting documents provided by the applicants, such as Chinese language course completion certificates and Chinese language proficiency test certificates. The Office of International Aairs will convene an administrative meeting for review. The review records will be signed by the president for approval.
七、本須知如有未盡事宜，依本校有關規定辦理。
Matters not mentioned herein shall be handled in accordance with relevant regulations of NCHU. Note: This written National Chung Hsing University Guidelines for Applying Chinese Learning Scholarship is in both Chinese and English languages. In the event of any inconsistency or conflict between the two languages, the English text shall prevail.
