-As an exchange student of PAX, you will receive the following supports: (1) free lodging in dormitory on campus, (2) tuition fees waived, (3) health insurance (personal accident insurance), and (4) monthly stipend (NT$8000)

2007/2008 Program for Academic Exchange (PAX)

2007/8 PAX (Program for Academic Exchange) is a program designed to promote international cooperation and exchange among the partner universities of NCHU. This is also a special program for international students who would like to experience different culture and lifestyle in Taiwan. Under this program, you will take Chinese Language Courses, and elective courses offered by Colleges of Liberal Arts, Agriculture and Natural Resources, Engineering, Veterinary Medicine, and Social Sciences and Management taught in English. Credits will be issued to students who complete the courses satisfactorily. Students from all over the world are welcomed to come to NCHU to discover Taiwan and to share their cultures with us. It is our hope that through the one-year program, the interactions between people from different cultures will bring out more inspiration and creativity in the campus. Each student will be assigned a professor for consultation in every aspect during his / her stay in Taiwan. The financial supports include tuition waiver, free dormitory, and partial living expenses. We cordially invite students who are interested in Taiwan to join this program.
