2008/2009 Program for Academic Exchange (PAX)

PAX (Program for Academic Exchange) is a program designed to promote international cooperation and exchange among the partner universities of NCHU. This is a special program for international students who would like to experience the unique culture and lifestyle of Taiwan. Under this program, besides taking the Chinese Language Courses, students can also select elective courses offered by Colleges of Liberal Arts, Agriculture and Natural Resources, Life Scienes, Engineering, Veterinary Medicine, and Social Sciences and Management, which are taught in English. Credits will be issued to students who complete the courses satisfactorily. Students from partner universities are welcomed to NCHU to discover Taiwan and also to share their cultures with us. We hope that through this one-year program, interactions between people from different cultural background can bring out more inspiration and creativity in the campus. Each student will be assigned a professor for consultation in every aspect during his / her stay in Taiwan. Financial supports from NCHU include tuition waiver, free dormitory and partial living expenses. We cordially invite students who are interested in knowing more about Taiwan to join this program.
