Required Documents
 

Applicants are required to submit the following materials to the Division of Foreign Student Affairs, Office of International Affairs:

 

1.            A completed application form with photo attached. (Download)

2.            A photocopy of diploma from the highest educational institution completed (translated into Chinese or English). The diploma and the transcript shall be certified by Taiwan Embassy or Taiwan representative office in/near your country. (http://www.boca.gov.tw/mp?mp=2.)

3.            Official transcript of academic records (translated into Chinese or English) with grade point average (preferable on a 0-4 scale) from each institution attended (high school for those seeking undergraduate admission; university/college for those applying MS or PhD programs). The complete transcript is required to be certified by Taiwan Embassy or Taiwan representative office in/near your country.

4.            To apply for PhD program, please submit your master thesis or proof that the master thesis is not required for your degree.

5.            Two letters of recommendation.

6.            A one-page study plan, written in Chinese or English.

7.            One-page Autobiography within 300~500 words or Curriculum Vitae, written in Chinese or English.

8.            A bank statement indicating sufficient funds for staying in Taiwan, which is also required to be certified by Taiwan Embassy or Taiwan representative office.

9.            Copy of the personal information on your passport.

10.         Telephone interview agreement. (Download)

11.         Consent form for uncertified diploma and transcript. (Download)

12.         Copy of TOEFL, GRE, GMAT records or other proofs of your Chinese and English ability are strongly suggested.

Academic Year

There are two semesters in each academic year. The first semester starts in September and ends in January. The second semester starts in February and ends in June.
